Activity 3: Concluding the Journey [6 points]
Sadly, the Summer Learning Journey has now come to an end. It is time to reflect on everything that you have learned this summer about people who have had an impact, or changed the world, in some way.
My favorite task was the fast and furious it was fun to draw the car that i would want and to have when im older
there were not really any tasks that i dident like that come to mind
i lernt that doing this has got some very good catches
1 you get to learn new things
2 you are able to take as long as you need and not be rushed by a teacher
3 its not that difficult
i dont want to change any thing to this programe
Hello Courtny,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on completing the whole Summer Learning Journey. 60 activities, wow that is a lot of time and effort into finishing this programme. I also really enjoyed the blog post where you had to make the car and label the parts of it. I am so proud of you and I think you are a great artist because when I looked at your post with the car it looked very good. I am a terrible artist and would probably have to spend the rest of my life studying art to get better. Once again I would like to congratulate you on finishing the whole programme. You have accomplished such a huge achievement. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Kia Ora Courtney,
ReplyDeleteWell done Courtney! You've made it to the end of the whole entire programme. I'm so proud of the amazing effort that you've put in to finish all 60 activities. Will you be participating next year?
Are you sad that it's ending? I sure am, because more and more people are finishing and so I can't continue to comment on their fantastic blog posts. I personally think this activity is excellent because you get to write your final thoughts on the journey.
You did such a phenomenal job on your car for the activity 'Need for Speed'!! I think you are such a good artist, and I'm not surprised you said it was your favourite. Do you like art? I bet if you get that car when you're older, everyone will wonder where it came from!
That's fantastic that you enjoyed each and every activity! I'm sure the people who made them will be really happy. You are right that you get to learn a LOT of new things. I find it really nice that you are able to do this in the comfort of your home at your pace, without a deadline; like you specified. The things you learnt are also great!
Congratulations for finishing the whole SLJ! I'm so excited to read some of your other posts. Remember to start commenting to get even more points :).

Talofa Lava Courtney,
ReplyDeleteA very big congratulations on completing all 60 activities of this years Summer Learning Journey. I have a lot of catching up to do but I wanted to pop on your final activity to congratulate you and let you know how proud I am for all your hard work over the summer break.
I enjoyed reading this final blog post of yours. I really like this activity because it gives you the space to reflect and share your thoughts on the Summer Learning Journey, like you’ve mentioned. I think the theme for this year is very special, especially because you have been able to learn so much about people, not only from around the world but right here in New Zealand.
Thank you so much for sharing with us how much you have enjoyed the Summer Learning Journey and all the things that you have learned this Summer. I can’t wait to catch up on all your awesome blog posts over the next two weeks! Don’t forget to go and comment on the other SLJ students blogs as I’m sure they’d love to hear from you and see you supporting them as well!
Well done, I hope you have a wonderful rest of your summer break!

Hi Courtney,
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Congratulations on finishing the entire Summer Learning Journey programme. You have done such an incredible job, Courtney. You must be so proud of yourself, I definitely am. You have put in so much effort over the summer to make it to the finish line.
I am so glad to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed the programme this year. The pleasure is all ours reading your humorous posts over the summer has really brought a smile to my face.
I cannot wait to make my way through the rest of your posts as we have a lot of catching up to do. There are two activities that I cannot seem to track down, W1, D2, Bonus. This activity is about bravery and sharing someone in your life who you think is brave. Do you remember doing this activity? The second activity that I cannot find is the W4, D5, A2. This activity was about your favourite quote. You zoomed through the last 15 activities last night so you may have accidentally missed it. Be sure to upload it and let me know so that I can officially make you a programme finisher.
I just wanted to congratulate you one last time, Courtney. This is such an incredible achievement that you have made.
You are a superstar!
Megan :)
Tēnā koe Courtney,
ReplyDeleteA HUGE congratulations on finishing all 60 SLJ activities - that is so impressive and such an epic effort! You’re such an inspiration for the other learners doing SLJ, they can learn a lot from you :)
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your posts Courtney, and I especially loved how open you were with what you wrote. I felt like I got to know you as a person, instead of just someone on the other side of a screen! I loved reading what you wrote about your SLJ experience, it sounds super positive. It’s so awesome to hear that you learnt lots and could do the activities at your own pace, without being rushed. Nothing worse than being rushed when you’re trying to do work!
Just a reminder to please check the comments we have left on your posts as there are a few activities that you’ll need to edit to get the full points available :)
Again, congratulations on finishing! Enjoy the rest of your summer and have a fantastic year ahead.
Eliza :)
